The Hospital located in Gulu Municipality, Gulu District – Gulu Archdiocese is part of the Lacor Hospital Complex  – comprising 3 peripheral lower level health facilities (Amuru, Opit, & Pabbo whose collective Bed capacity is added to the main Hospital Beds making 554 Beds i.e. The Hospital Complex has 554 Beds), the Nurse Training & Laboratory Training Schools and is the Official teaching site for the Gulu University Faculty of Medicine.

The hospital Offers General and Specialised Medical and Surgical/Gynaecological services.

User fees account averagely for 20.5% of the total Hospital annual Income while the government subsidy is 8% of total annual income.

It has annual OPD attendance of 229,054 contacts—this translates into of the entire annual district OPD attendance, 33,964 Admissions ) with a BoR of 94% and 5,394 annual maternal deliveries averagely with a C/S rate of 13.6%.

The hospital also offers Pastoral Care and Palliative Care Services.

The Hospital also runs a Nurses’& Laboratory Training School since 1973 and 1979 respectively offering Diploma courses in Nursing as well as Certificate Courses in Midwifery, Nursing, & Comprehensive Nursing—with annual intake of averagely 16 for Diploma, & 65 for Certificate courses while Laboratory School trains Laboratory Assistants annually 30-35 students’ intake, the schools also has a Diploma program for Anaesthesia since 2011.
