African Faith Health Leader Press Conference November 2025

In November 2025, faith leaders from 10 African nations came together in Nairobi to address health challenges in their nations, advocate for local solutions, and encourage local and global action to improve health. The consultation was hosted by Christian Connections for International Health (CCIH), All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC), and the Africa Christian Health Associations Platform (ACHAP).

In a press conference at the AACC on 27 November at the AACC office, the faith leaders shared their conclusions and calls for action.

The faith leaders were represented at the press conference by

-Ms. Joyce Daphine Khayiyi, AACC Youth Network/Anglican Church of Uganda
-Bishop Matthew Kukah, Catholic Church of Nigeria, and
